Mind Training
Unleash your mind's power for Success
Comparable to deep meditative states of mind, at Success Studio we master a wide range of techniques, such as guided imagery, focused attention, NLP and more, to help you gain access to this highly beneficial and natural state of mind All these techniques are safe and highly effective in training your mind to change unwanted behaviors, learn desirable new ones, and help you reach the goal you want.
Control of mind over body
Monks in Tibet are able to control their body temperature in alternate states of consciousness. While meditating in a 40 degrees chilly room, a monk was wrapped in sheets soaked in cold water (49 degreess) sheets, twice. He dried them in about an hour. Usually this exercise induces shivering and potentially death in untrained people, but not for this trained master.
Harness your mind power like the star athletes and succesful people do
You probably have watched world class athletic competitions such as the Olympics and seen some athletes, eyes shut, listening to something on their mp3 player.
Ever wondered what they are doing? In the world of sports this it is no secret. They are using visualization techniques (one of many we master) to help their mind focus on the goal on hand, playing a movie in their minds, their body knowing what to do to optimally perform during the competition and winning the race. At Success Studio you can try the same powerful techniques to achieve your goal.
In his book ‘Beneath the Surface’, Michael Phelps writes. "When I’m about to fall asleep, I visualize to the point that I know exactly what I want to do: dive, glide, stroke, flip, reach the wall, hit the split time to the hundredth, then swim back again for as many times as I need to finish the race".
Mind training in children and teenagers
Children’s and teenager's imagination makes them to greatly benefit from mind training. Just as adults, children and teenagers many times need to overcome fears, traumas or position them to reach goals, perform at their best in sports or gain confidence in social situations as well as academics. If you have a child or teenager that can benfit from mind training, or you have questions of how we might help, give us a call.
